A letter from Granger--

Hi all!

Just wanted to check in and say hi on P-Day.

This past week has had its major ups and downs.  A 12 year old boy we have been teaching, wants to be baptized but we can't until his mom gets active. I have learned exactly what poor parenting is like out here! On the other hand, we went to a trailer park to start tracting and we ran into a lot of Latinos. I was able to use my Spanish to communicate what we teach and if they would like the missionaries that speak Spanish to come by. Man, am I ever glad I took all those semesters of Spanish!!

We also found two new investigators, one of which is GOLDEN! She ask us a few questions she has about life and they are all questions of the soul, like "What’s missing from my life?" and "How can I better strengthen my family?"  We are going to try and put her on date this week.

Otherwise I am still truckin' along. We are working our butts off out here! We barely have time to eat most the time. The work is hard but so rewarding. It is great to know I am making a difference in someone's life. Work is plentiful here in Granger. The area is really the pretty run down part of the Salt Lake suburbs. The people are humble and so great! Well time to go!

Love,

Elder Trevor Pollmann

Doesn’t Trevor sound like he is just doing great!?  Trevor, we are so proud of you.  You are really working hard and doing the Lord’s work.  You are really going to make such a huge difference in people’s lives.

We love you!

This just goes to prove that there are people everywhere in the world, even the Salt Lake valley that have not heard the gospel. So lets all open our mouths and SHARE what we know!
