First letter from the mission field:
Hey There!

Sorry it took so long to write. Our P Day on Monday was cut kind of short. We had an appointment to meet with a man named Larry. He is on date to be baptized on the 26th. It is cool because he is the first person I committed to be baptized.

I am currently serving in... (drum roll) the Granger West A area in West Valley City!! My companion is Elder Beck, who is on his last transfer. He was just released from being an AP so he could train one last time before he went home. It is so great to be serving, the time really flies by.

We only get mail once a week, and I can only read it on Mondays and Sunday nights, so don't overwhelm me too much with stuff hahaha.

We have two weddings coming up soon. One is hopefully this Saturday, and another is on Single's Awareness day (Valentine's).

I am so excited to serve this transfer. We just moved into a new apartment yesterday, whereas before we were living with another companionship. It is very different being in just a companionship instead of a district. I am still trying to get used to it. The thing that really struck me as interesting was, although the area of the wards is much smaller, the membership isn't as high. We went to one of the three wards our companionship covers and the attendance was probably only about 50 people. That makes some of our branches back home look big! This area is so ripe for harvest though. We have met so many people that have lived in Utah all their lives, and never heard the gospel. I am excited to do my best to share the word of the Lord!
Love,
Elder Trevor Pollmann
