Here is the day Trevor has waited 19 years for…the day he went in to the Missionary Training Center (MTC).
On January 5th, Trevor woke up in Iowa and got ready. His parents took him to the airport and had one last hug and goodbye before he left for 2 years.
2 suitcases, a carry-on, and a back pack. Only a missionary can pack 2 years worth of stuff in such little luggage!
Bye buddy!
One last look at Elder Pollmann
A few hours later he touched down in Utah to a pair of screaming sisters!!
The boys hauled the luggage out to the car and we were off to Deseret Book in downtown Salt Lake City.
Then we met up with Lisa, Erin, Josh, and Mia for “The Last Supper.” Trevor wanted Asian food, so a Chinese buffet was perfect. Complete with Mongolian grill, salad bar, Chinese food galore, and a huge dessert bar!! We stuffed our faces.
Trevor said a tearful goodbye to Lisa…
and Erin.
Then a big group huge!! All the sisters just couldn’t get enough of their little tall brother.
We just love the baby of the fam!
Adam, Crissa, and Lori took Trevor to the MTC. In the past families used to go in to the MTC, watch a video, bawl, and say goodbye. Now, you drive up, Elder’s help unload the car…
hurry and say goodbye…
WAIT! Say goodbye again…
and he was off. The Elder’s whisked him away quicker than we planned on. Tears we shed as we drove away….at least on our side.
We love you Teaspoon! We can’t tell you enough how proud we are of you. We will continue to keep you in our prayers and can hardly wait to hear all about the MTC.
LOVE YOU ELDER T!
